Converse CONS x Carhartt WIP

Converse CONS has collaborated with Carhartt WIP for For SS22, to create two new skate performance design.

Building on the two brands' roots in skateboarding, the new styles have been designed to withstand the forces of street and park skateboarding, featuring for example a CX foam insole for cushioning, and a CONS traction rubber outsole.

The two styles include a low One Star Ox Pro and the mid-Fast Break Ox Pro. Colours and fabrics take influence from Carhartt WIP clothing pieces, while the construction takes Converse's expertise at producing a shoe fit to last many a skate session.

The two brands' skateboard teams actually share several riders, such as Roman Gonzalez, Felipe Bartolomé, Rémy Taveira, and Sylvain Tognelli. As such, the collaboration naturally builds on these connections, synergising the two brands' and amalgamating into a strong capsule for Spring/Summer 2022.
